Director of California Programs [1] -- This full‐time position is responsible for leading a team of staff working to support GSA clubs and train youth leaders across California to engage in grassroots organizing and policy advocacy. Key responsibilities include supervision, project management, and program design, evaluation, and oversight. Additionally, the Director of California Programs will design and implement a new alumni program for former GSA Network program participants. The Director of California Programs must have a sharp understanding of grassroots community organizing, youth development, curriculum development, program design, and project management.
Human Resources Manager/Director [2] -- Based in our San Francisco office, the Human Resources Manager/Director will play a leadership role in the organization, partnering with the Executive Director, senior leadership team, and staff to curate a positive, professional, and equitable work environment at GSA Network. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the overall management of all Human Resources functions and duties, including policy oversight, hiring, compliance, employee relations, benefits, discipline, grievances, salary administration, training and development etc.

GSA Network internships are a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience working in a LGBTQ non-profit setting, working for California's most dynamic LGBTQ youth-driven organization. Interns may work on outreach and technical assistance to GSA clubs, curriculum development, writing program resources, media or press work, lobbying and policy advocacy, event planning, individual donor fundraising, database systems, office support, and many other exciting activities.
Internships are available year round, and are unpaid. GSA Network can offer school credit for internships. GSA Network does not have the ability to provide relocation benefits to interested parties. The job descriptions reflect the essential functions of each internship; they do not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Selections are made as the applicant pool allows and continue until the position is filled.
