WHAT: YES is a free annual conference for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) and ally youth activists who are dedicated to racial, economic, and educational justice for trans* and queer youth. YES is youth-planned and youth-led.

COST: FREE! This includes workshops, drag show, resource fair, and dance, plus free HIV testing. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.

We are seeking a broad range of workshops that are relevant and exciting for LGBTQ youth. We strive to choose workshops and presenters who reflect the diverse community of youth who attend YES. For example, workshop topics may include: QTPOC activism, trans* health, arts resiliency, comprehensive sex education, racial justice, know-your-rights, mental health, nonbinary gender awareness, healing, and voguing, to name a few. We are looking for community organizations, healthcare providers, and other youth-specific programs to table at YES. The Resource Fair is a unique opportunity for you to showcase your work to a large LGBTQ youth audience. To sign up to table at the YES Resource Fair, click here
VolunteeringWith over 350 participants we'd appreciate your support volunteering. Please sign up for as many shifts as you are available (that don't overlap). Here is a list of volunteer areas and possible tasks: 1) event set-up 2) breakfast team 3) registration 4) general assistance/floaters 5) lunch team 6) workshop monitor.
