All are welcome to march with us- GSAS, youth, college GSAs, advisors, teachers, school staff, parents, and anyone else who supports GSAs and LGBTQA youth!
Each year, Christopher Street West (CSW)/LA Pride give GSA Network a limited number of tickets for youth (elementary, middle, and high school) to attend the LA Pride festival after marching in the parade. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis and will be distributed at the parade site to the designated group contact ONLY. Only youth will receive free tickets. If you missed the deadline to request tickets, please email email@example.com to be put on the waiting list.
Tickets will only be distributed to the person registered. Tickets that are not claimed by 10:15am are not guaranteed and will be distributed to the waiting list. Tickets will only be given to middle and high school YOUTH and are non-transferable. Tickets given to those ineligible will be revoked.
More info about the parade can be found here: LA Pride 2013 Parade
We will be meeting at 9:30am in the Bank of America parking lot at 8025 Santa Monica Blvd. off of Crescent Heights.
Please arrive on time so that we can get into formation for the parade. Parking can be tough, so we encourage you to take public transportation or to carpool and arrive even earlier to find parking.
On the day of the event, you can reach Chris or Ariel on their cellphones via text/call:
GSAs are encouraged to come dressed festively and to bring posters, flags, etc.
Please remember to bring water and sunscreen. It will be a long, hot day!
By marching with GSA Network, you are also agreeing to abiding by mandatory marching rules set by LA Pride, including but not limited to staying on the street with the group. Marchers are not allowed to leave the group and hand out, receive, or otherwise go onto sidewalks and engage with parade viewers for safety reasons.
