Financial Transparency
Youth deserve to know exactly how their movement is resourced. We believe in radical transparency: every dollar accounted for, every decision explained.
-
For over 25 years, GSA Network has been funded by people who believe in youth power. We're accountable to the TQ2S+ youth we serve, the communities we're part of, and the donors who invest in this work.
-
Our work is people based because movements are made by people.
We pay our staff equitably, recognizing that sustainable organizing requires people who can pay rent, feed their families, and show up fully. Most of our team are TQ2S+ people of color who've been organizers themselves. They deserve to be resourced.
-
We also resource youth and grassroots power directly.
Through our Youth Freedom Fund, we send mini-grants straight to GSA clubs for campaigns, events, and organizing. We pay youth artists and writers for their work because cultural production is labor. We invest in gatherings that bring our movement together. We fund local organizations through the National Association of GSA Networks, supporting grassroots groups building power in their own communities. We prioritize digital and physical security so youth can organize safely.
-
This movement runs on relationships, not just programs.
We fund the people doing the work: staff, youth leaders, artists, organizers, and local groups rooted in their communities. Every budget reflects our values of equity, safety, and power in the hands of young people.
Money moves through us to fuel resistance. Resources flow where the work lives. Youth build the future, and we make sure they have what they need to build it.
Below you'll find our annual financial statements, IRS Form 990s, and independent audits.
