GSA Network has been a growing formation since 1998. Thirty years before GSA clubs started to pop up across the country, trans, queer, and two-spirit young people were building a movement for liberation. Almost 60 years since Stonewall, and almost 30 since building GSA Network, the TQ2S youth movement continues. Every school and community GSA club, every TQ2S youth group, every program that is committed to devising freedom with TQ2S young people today:

  • The strongest communities are intergenerational. When the adults in young people’s lives learn how to care for their growing potential, the world and living in this world become more possible.

  • While the federal Department of Education is dismantled, teachers and administrators in local school districts have the responsibility to safeguard this generation’s learning space. Our human and civil right to studenthood is nurtured, or stunted, in the classroom.
