Young people deserve opportunities to shape the programs and communities created for them. Side by Side’s Youth Leadership Committee gives LGBTQ+ youth ages 14–20 a chance to build leadership skills through hands-on projects, community outreach, education, and planning events like the annual Alternative Prom and GSA Summit.

HOW TO USE THIS RESOURCE:

Explore the Youth Leadership Committee if you’re interested in developing your leadership skills, meeting other LGBTQ+ young people, and having a voice in Side by Side’s youth programming. To learn more about joining or applying, contact info@sidebysideva.org.
