Types of GSAs

Genders & Sexualities Alliances (GSAs) are youth-led clubs that unite trans, queer, Two Spirit, and other marginalized or allied youth to build community, support one another, and organize for change. This resource will help you explore the different forms your GSA can take– from school or community-based, to virtual GSAs!

HOW TO USE THIS RESOURCE:

Read with your GSA and/or your GSA Advisor to learn more about each type of GSA. Even if you are already in a school-based GSA, there might be considerations or ideas from a community-based or virtual perspective that can still inspire you and your club! If you’re looking to start a GSA, this resource is the first stop in determining what that can look like.
