Start a GSA: 10 Steps

Starting a GSA is about creating a recognized  space where LGBTQ+ students and their allies can find each other and begin building something together. GSA clubs are voluntary, inclusive, youth-led spaces. No one should ever be pressured to join, to come out, or to disclose more about themselves than they choose to. A club's culture should make it easy to attend without commitment and easy to leave without explanation.
